“Confused in My New Place” is about moving somewhere new and realising that changing your surroundings doesn’t necessarily mean you’ve figured yourself out. It captures the awkward, lonely, and sometimes exciting parts of starting over, meeting new people, and trying to find where you belong. Because sometimes, even when your life looks different on the outside, you’re still the same person trying to make sense of it all.

Moved out of town, wondering what it's about

Found a new place, got a new routine

Genuinely thought that’s a whole new me

I see a lot of new faces

A lot of hugs and kisses

Just showing them what they love

So they won’t be scared of who I was

(Ohhh)

Maybe I’m just a people pleaser

(Ohhh)

Hmm maybe I can fit in better

But is this what I want? Is this who I am?

Or I’m just a girl? Searching for a plan

All the thought that keeps me awake at night

Tells me that I have to make this right

Maybe once or twice, we don’t get it right

Don’t we gotta try try try

All the thoughts that keep me awake at night

Is the only way I can get less confused in my new place

(Why did they change the ABC song? Like LMNOP…?)

(It’s so confusing it doesn't rhyme… how can kids memorise it?)

Fresh food, fresh mind

Fresh thought, nothing overnight

Toss the leftovers im so over

If only I could treat me better

I’m gonna be honest

And now I wanna be honest

I like what I like; I don’t like what I don’t like

(Ohh)

Maybe I’m just a people pleaser

(Ohhh)

Hmm maybe I can fit in better

But is this what I want? Is this who I am?

Or I’m just a girl? Searching for a plan

All the thought that keeps me awake at night

Tells me that I have to make this right

Maybe once or twice, we don’t get it right

Don’t we gotta try try try

All the thoughts that keep me awake at night

Is the only way I can get less confused in my new place

Don't we gotta try try try

But is this what I want? Is this who I am?

Or I’m just a girl? Searching for a plan

All the thought that keeps me awake at night

Tells me that I have to make this right

Maybe once or twice, we don’t get it right

Don’t we gotta try try try

All the thoughts that keep me awake at night

Is the only way I can get less confused in my new place

(Ohh)

The only way I can get less confused in my new place x 4

What if we don’t try

How’d we know if it’s too late

What if we don’t try

How’d we know it just began
